From Somerset, Natalie has grown up in the area. She worked at the prestigious Castle Hotel in Taunton before moving to Winyards Gap as Assistant Manager. Natalie joined the Acorn as Assistant General Manager in the summer of 2010. She has shown such promise that she was chosen to take part in the Red Carnation Hotels Ambassadors in Management course in 2012.

I have worked in the hospitality industry since a young age, in a variety of different roles. I began working at the Acorn Inn over two and a half years ago and I have now been promoted to the position of Assistant General Manager. It has been a privilege to work here, as I have been able to develop my skill set and progress within the company.
I am very much looking forward to my future at Red Carnation Hotels, where I will continue to develop the growth of the Acorn Inn, with the help of an outstanding team.

I started at the Acorn Inn as a General Assistant in 2010, after a year I was promoted to Bar Manager and 5 years on I am delighted to be promoted to General Manager along with my partner Natalie. I have loved working for Red Carnation and in particular, watching the Acorn team grow and flourish over several years. With a brilliant team and a wonderful establishment Natalie and I look forward to leading the team in the coming years.

My career began in Kenya, working in wonderful restaurants and hotels learning to master culinary arts before moving to the UK where I worked in a string of hotels and restaurants, I eventually settled down with my wife in the beautiful county of Dorset which I love and personally think provides superb ingredients with both land and sea at our doorstep. I was delighted to join Acorn Inn 2015 in the role of Sous chef and was honored to be appointed new Head Chef 2017, myself and my kitchen team will bring a plethora of experience and hope to push the Acorn Inn to new heights.
